INFORMATION FOR BCGA COLLEGE STIPEND FUND APPLICANTS
The Berks County Golf Association College Stipend Fund is a one-time award granted through the BCGA.  The BCGA College Stipend Fund Committee considers numerous factors in determining our College Stipend Fund recipients.  These include, but are not limited to: academics, character, leadership and service, golfing accomplishments, participation in our BCGA events, letters of recommendation, application information, financial need and acceptance into a post-secondary institution.

COLLEGE STIPEND FUND CRITERIA: High school seniors or current college undergraduate students are eligible. Club affiliation is NOT a factor.
Applicant must be a resident of Berks County or parent(s)/guardian must be a member of a BCGA Member Club (Full or Associate)
Applicant must have a high school or college cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Applicant must have played regularly on their high school golf team’s scheduled events.
Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and/or community service work.
Applicants demonstrated financial need will be considered.
Applicant must have applied to and been accepted into an accredited four-year, two-year or PGM academic program.
